Comets On Fire !

Without any doubts, Comets On Fire has changed the way I see things and life. But before even had a chance to see their performance live, they disbanded last year (according to Uncut magazine supplement for the Best Of 2007). It was a really disappointing news for me. Suddenly I was up for my mission to collect all thing Comets On Fire: CD’s; vinyls, 7″s, CDr, Cassettes, T-Shirt, etc, etc. But mys budget is as always, limited. It’s gonna take a while to collect all of what available out there, so I decide to purchase some rare releases first. I managed to win a bid (thru ebay) on their 2005 European tour tee which was designed bt Stephen O’Malley of Sunn O))), It sort of cost me too much. Then I decided to hunt Bong Voyage 12″ LP in a range price that won’t hurt me, so ebay was my last choice. And so I wander around in front of my PC, and accidentally read a news about the Comets performing again for the Sub Pop 20th Anniversary!

I seached on youtube and it was true!

They even toured Europe on June-July. Here’s the footage of their performance on June 30th at TIVOLI, UTRECHT

I wish I could meet them someday. In real life…
